Do you adhere to strict sanitation and hygiene standards?
YES!
At Body & Soul Day Spa, we aim to ensure that our clients are receiving the highest priority infection control standards. We sterilize all tools by soaking them in bleach water, and clean with warm soap water. We use hospital grade disinfectant (T36 and/or Accel TB) to disinfect our tools, pedicure chairs and hydrotherapy tub after each and every client. This meets the standards required by Capital Health. We care about your health and safety.
Body & Soul Day Spa is a member of Leading Spas of Canada. Below is the description of the Quality Assurance Program of Leading Spas of Canada expected from their members.
Spas from across the country have distinguished themselves amongst the most elite in Canada by successfully completing the Spa Industry Association of Canada’s rigorous Quality Assurance Program.
Safety and hygiene standards have become vital, key concerns over the past few years, as the popularity of spa treatments has grown. There is no consistent governmental regulation for the Canadian spa industry, however Body and Soul Day Spa only hires certified trained staff.
The Quality Assurance Program, the only national program of its kind in the Canadian spa industry, is designed to demonstrate to consumers which spas exceed industry standards and best practices. Renewal is not automatic as spas must re-qualify once their term expires.
Do you offer any special discounts?
YES!
Seniors always receive a 10% discount. We also have a “Last Minute” booking deal. If you fill a last minute opening we will give you 10% off! (Ask at reception about this great deal.) “Spa”rties – groups of 8 or more booked together will also receive 10% off.
Are Gratuities added to my service price?
NO
Gratuities are not added into any spa services. Gratutities may be given at your descretion in appreciation for services provided. Gift Cards cannot be used for gratuities.
What happens if I lose or misplace my Gift Card?
If you misplace your Gift Card, not to worry. In instances where some of the Gift Card has been used or you know who purchased the Gift Card we can find your balance. Simply let our Spa Co-Ordinators know and we can look you up in our system and put your remaining balance on file! Prices are subject to change but Gift Cards hold their monetary value.
Are you Wheelchair friendly?
YES!
At Body & Soul Day Spa we are wheelchair accessible and can offer a wide range of relaxing services for clients with mobility issues.
Is there somewhere where I can place my valuables during my services?
YES!
Lockers are provided to keep your valuables safe. At Body & Soul Day Spa we can not assume any liability for valuables left unattended.
What should I wear to my spray tan appointment?
We recommend you wear dark loose clothing during your spray tan appointment. An older bathing suit or undergarments can be worn during application. Disposable panties provided if required.
Should I arrive early for my appointments?
YES!
Certain appointments, such as massage, require that you arrive 10-15 minutes early to fill in the intake forms.
Can I shave the day of my pedicure appointment?
NO
We recommend not shaving the day of your appointment. Scrubs and lotions may cause irritability.
Do I need to bring sandals to my pedicure appointment?
YES!
We advise wearing sandals home from your pedicure appointment. Sandals are available for purchase if needed.
